Mobile Game Quick Review.
I am a fan of Harry Potter, mind you not fanatic, so downloading and playing this game was a no brainer for me. I am not sure what I was expecting but since I no longer have a mobile game on my computer, I felt it was time.
After playing it for ten minutes, I got the feeling Ive played this game before. It is very similar to the Kim Kardashian game and a few others I have played. Lots of tapping and performing mundane tasks to acquire either items that help you progress or help accomplish a task. Either way I felt like this could get boring rather quickly.
The graphics are a surprise and I really enjoyed them. You can put on VR and play with a 3D feel (I have not done) but plays very well without. The depth of the game was surprising, and the details were excellent. It felt like they put a lot of time and effort in not only environments, but objects and NPC’s as well.
I am now roughly 2 hours in and I am still intrigued. The story line is Hogwarts 101 style, but it is enough to keep you wanting to play.
The long and short of it (no spoilers) is your brother was at Hogwarts and disappeared under shady circumstances. Somehow he embarrassed the school and everyone dislikes him. You are there to “learn” how to be a wizard, but also investigate the dire circumstances of your missing brother.
Over all I am enjoying the game and since it is free, I can’t complain one bit. If you are a Harry Potter fan, and are looking for a new game, this will be well worth your time.
