Well, it looks like one of the worst kept secrets in Assassin’s Creed’s history and something we’ve been tracking since March, has finally been confirmed by Ubisoft. Titled Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey, sees the fabled guild heading to Ancient Greece (as seen below)

as it gives a nod to Frank Millar’s 300 graphic novel with the famous Spartan kick and the Corinthian Helmet in the logo which both also give credence to Ancient Greece. Nothing of a plot has been given, except for the “See You At E3” at the end of the very brief teaser, we will just have to sit back and wait for the event which is only a couple of weeks away.
As a somewhat knowledgeable individual with Greek history, I think if the team at Ubisoft were going to choose, they would choose ether the Persian War or the Trojan War. Ether way, this announcement has this gamer excited to rejoin the AC universe. Stay tuned for more information as it is unveiled.
