Shocking everyone this past week, Total War announced a sequel to their hit PC strategy game, Total War: Warhammer 2 returns with 4 brand new playable races The Lizardmen (my fav), Dark Elves, High Elves and one more race that has yet to be revealed (watch till the end to see who you think it might be.
With a brand new campaign that takes you deep into the lore of the playable races, the team at Sega and Creative Assembly stated that it will be a new type of narrative that will see the 4 races looking to ether save or destroy the Great Vortex over Ulthuan and you will need to rush to do so before anyone else can.
The most intriguing part about Total War: Warhammer 2, if you own the previous title, you will be able to play with the campaign maps and allow you to play any of the races available. The team also goes on to say that they will be offering hundreds of hours of gameplay. No word on an exact release date but it will be available later this year (most likely for christmas) and they have also announced that they are working on the third game as they stated Total War: Warhammer is a trilogy.
