“When NYC is in trouble, who are you gonna call?”
Story:
The game begins with you (an agent of The Division) being activated to help bring order back to Manhattan. As you make your way through another day in the big apple, you are called to assist the JTF (Joint Task Force) in defending the F.O.B. (Forward Operating Base) from thugs. After you complete that you are off on own adventure. The story is broken up quite well with a healthy mix of Main Story missions, Side Missions, Encounters and other random events to give a unique flavor to it and lets you complete this game anyway you want. The only issue that presents itself is the lack of a true sense of the city is on the brink of collapse.

Graphics:
For a game that has been in development for the past 4 years, there is a certain level of expectation associated with it. It appears that it has delivered on those expectations, from the overall scope of detail used is second to none in any current game on the market today. However with the amount of detail in the landscape, there are a few instances of issues/ From random clipping issues to some draw and loading issues it does take away from the awe of this game. These minor issues can be easily resolved though so it’s not the end of the world.

Gameplay:
The Division brings with its gameplay a certain control style that most gamers should recognize… Gears of War. It features an unique cover system that truly blends a sense of realism. Although sometimes your character can stick to cover when you are trying to run away (very frustrating) but a quick double tap of X (on PlayStation) can remedy it. The one thing that helps The Division is the dynamic weapon system. It is apparent that the team put a lot of time into making each weapon feel authentic & “real”. Each weapon, whether a pistol, shotgun or rifle makes you have to think about your attack due to the different attributes like muzzle rise, recoil, range, etc. The only issue is with online play, sometimes (not always) you may aim one way and your friend may see you aiming another way or watch you shoot and kill an enemy when all you see them doing is shooting the ground.
