With April already here and still lots of games on the horizon, we took a look at the games coming out for April and we have compiled a list of the Top 5 games that we think might just be worth your hard earned money.
#5: BattleTech
During the 3025 Succession Wars Era, BattleTech is a turn based strategy game based on the original board game now called Classic Battletech where it sees you playing as a merc commander fighting to survive. BattleTech will be released sometime in April for the PC. Here is the plot for BattleTech:
In the game, the player assumes the role of a mercenary commander leading a team of powerful combat vehicles called battlemechs. The player is responsible for selecting each mech’s model, armor, pilot, armaments, and skills, and controls a team of four mechs (a ‘lance’) in combat. #4: Extinction
Taking a page from animes such as Attack on Titan, Extinction is a 3rd person game that pits you against hordes of giant Ogres that are trying to wipe out humanity. Extinction will be available on 4/10/18 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. Here is the plot for Extinction:

#3: Frostpunk
Frostpunk is an upcoming city building & survival game using steampunk style constructs where hear means life & every single decision you make will come with a cost. Frostpunk will be available 4/24/18 for the PC. Here is the plot for Frostpunk:

#2: Yakuza 6: The Song of Life
Yakuza 6 is an action-adventure game that is set in an open world where you play returning character Kazuma Kiryu and will feature locations such as Kamurocho and Hiroshima. Yakuza 6 will be available on 4/17/18 for the PS4. Here is the plot for Yakuza 6:
While recovering from his injuries from the previous game, a hospitalized Kazuma Kiryu is approached by the police, who plan to arrest him for his past crimes. Kiryu chooses not to resist the arrest and willingly spends three years in prison in order to live peacefully with the children he had fostered. Upon being released, Kiryu discovers that Haruka has seemingly gone missing. Kiryu returns to Kamurocho to search for Haruka, only to find out that she has been left in a coma after a hit and run incident, and that she has a newborn son, Haruto. Unsure whether Haruka will recover from her injuries, Kiryu travels with the baby to Onomichi Jingaicho in Hiroshima to uncover the mystery of what happened to Haruka during his three-year absence. ©Wikipedia

God of War (2018) is a continuation of the God of War franchise which now sees Kratos in the world of the Norse Gods once again fighting for survival, but now has a son Atreus. God of War will be available 4/20/18 for the PS4

Having survived his final encounter with his father Zeus, Kratos now lives with his young son Atreus in the world of the Norse gods, a savage land inhabited by many ferocious monsters and warriors.
