The 2nd Review

E3 2017 Part 1

E3 is in full swing and the premieres are flying out of the woodwork. EA has already had its press conference and dropped a lot of amazing stuff. Below you can see the list of all the games that they showcased.

Star Wars Battlefront 2:

As it was already announced, EA and DICE are making good on their promise to bring in all (currently 8) the films into the universe. In the premiere trailer, we see the First Order’s Stormtroopers, The Empire’s Stormtroopers, The Republic’s Clone Troopers and The Trade Federation’s Droid Army. We also get a look at some of the new worlds you will get to play on as well as new heroes (like Darth Maul, Kylo Ren and Rey). But the most impressive is the shear amount of vehicles, classes and power-ups that you will have access to. Star Wars Battlefront 2 will be released on November 17th on PS4, XboxOne, and PC. Check out the new trailer below.

Madden 2018:

As with every year, Madden was unveiled with a brand new in-depth story mode. Other than that, not much has changed with the game other than a few tweaks here and there.

NBA Live 18:

FIFA 18:

Anthem:

A delightful surprise this year as a new IP from Ubisoft, Anthem is being described as a Game of Thronesqe game with a sci-fi twist in where from the debut trailer, humanity is behind a Wall that protects the people from evil creatures and you are tasked with defending it. It also appears that Anthem might be invoking a risk-reward or choice system (much like TellTale games has it) that will have you making difficult choices as the game progresses. There is no known release date, but it is most likely late next year and for PS4, XboxOne, and PC. Check out the trailer below.

A Way Out:

A Way Out is another surprise trailer from EA and unfortunately not much is known at this time other than it is a co-op game that tasks you with what appears you are trying to escape prison. Check out the trailer below.

Stay tuned for part 2 including Microsoft’s press conference.
