Shocker right? Well not really, Dice and EA have been touting that they were looking into a sequel to the hit multiplayer only game months after its initial release. So whats changing? It looks as if the developers finally listened and added a new single player campaign which from the trailer below looks to take place after episode 6 and will continue through episode 7 and into 8 (as indicated with The Last Jedi DLC for pre-ordering). It also appears that in Battlefront 2, you will also play across all the established timeline (indicated with Yoda fighting Darth Maul).
It’s a little redundant for saying that this trailer was a “leak” when knowing full well that EA was ready to drop this just before E3 giving them some sway going into the event to get players excited and begin pre-ordering. If you haven’t seen the trailer, check it out below before its gone:
